Chamomile & Pear joins the range

The sixth Sprig is the quietest one yet: late-summer chamomile, a ripe Conference pear and not much else. In stockists from this week.

We have been trying to make an evening drink for three years. Something you would open at nine oโ€™clock instead of putting the kettle on. Most attempts tasted of pot-pourri. This one, the forty-first, tastes of an orchard at the end of a warm day, and it is now the sixth drink in the range.

What is in it

Chamomile picked in August from a field two villages over, steeped cold for a full day. Juice from Conference pears, pressed when they are almost too ripe to carry. Sparkling water. That is the list.

โ€œIt is the first drink we have made that nobody wanted to add anything to.โ€

How it differs from the others

  • Softer bubbles: we carbonate it a little lower than Nettle & Lime

  • No citrus at all, which is a first for us

  • Best a few degrees warmer than fridge-cold
