The workshop is open to visitors on the first Saturday of every month, from ten until two. There is no booking and no charge. You get a tour, a tasting and, if the weather holds, a short walk along the field edge where most of it grows.
Dates until Christmas
Saturday 5 September
Saturday 3 October
Saturday 7 November
Saturday 5 December, with the drying room at its fullest
โCome in old shoes. The interesting parts of the building are the wet ones.โ
What you will see
The cold room where the herbs steep, the drying room, the filler and the table where every batch is tasted before it runs. The tour takes about forty minutes. Children are welcome and are usually better at naming the plants than their parents.
