Ingredients

Makes

1 glass

Units

  • ยฝpink grapefruit, juiced, plus a slice for the glass
  • 1sprig of rosemary, bruised between your palms
  • 30 mldry white vermouth
  • 150 mlSprig Spruce Tip & Lemon, properly cold
  • Ice, and plenty of it

You will need

one can of Sprig Spruce Tip & Lemon

How to make it

Method

01

Fill a tumbler to the top with ice. A full glass melts more slowly than a half-full one.

02

Pour in the grapefruit juice and the vermouth, add the rosemary and give it one slow stir.

03

Top with the Spruce Tip & Lemon, pouring down the side of the glass to keep the bubbles.

04

Tuck the grapefruit slice down the side and serve at once.

The tip

For a crowd, multiply everything by six and build it in a jug, but keep the ice in the glasses so nothing waters down while you talk.

Rosemary, just picked. Woody stems carry more scent.
